Whoa. It’s 2023. And it has been a hot second since I have summarized all that has happened (and continues to happen) with telehealth, MNT, and dietitians. So I thought it would be helpful to regroup and chat about the changes. 

Spoiler alert - not a TON has actually changed. BUT in my experience, RDs appear as confused as ever. 

By the end of the 60-minute webinar dietitians will be able to:

• Describe the current telehealth landscape for dietitians
• Explain the role of licensure and telehealth
• Identify the ethical considerations for telehealth
• Summarize the best practices for dietitians engaging in telehealth

In addition, I will provide some specific updates on how we are currently billing the 5 major insurance companies for telehealth (Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Medicare, and United Health Care). Medicaid is a different beast. But I will be showing you how you can learn more about how to locate the telehealth changes for state-based Medicaid plans.
