How to Add APRNs to your Practice & Bill for GLPs

Insurance-based RD practices are uniquely positioned to expand into integrated clinical care — yet many never move beyond traditional nutrition billing.

This Master Class is designed for established dietitian practice owners who want to strategically add an NP or PA, integrate medical services such as weight management, peptide therapies, GLP-1 programs, advanced lab testing, hormone optimization, and other clinically aligned services, and build a compliant hybrid model that leverages both insurance and cash revenue.

Whether your specialty is metabolic health, GI, women’s health, sports performance, pediatrics, or chronic disease management, the opportunity is the same: use insurance as a predictable foundation while thoughtfully layering structured, high-retention clinical programs that increase revenue without compromising compliance.

This is not theory. It is a practical framework drawn from direct private practice ownership, insurance contracting, clinical program development, and real-world implementation of hybrid care models.

After Attending, You Will Be Able To:

  • Evaluate whether your practice is financially and operationally ready to add an NP or PA and how this could be a value add.
  • Identify first steps in adding an NP or PA and compliance considerations
  • Understand common E/M billing used in RD practice, how it creates predictable revenue and how hybrid services expand margin.
  • Design a simple hybrid patient flow that moves from insurance-covered visits to structured programs and retention models.
